| The Perfect Chocolate cakeby Anna MaeIts got 60% chocolate! Ingredients:1-3/4 cup all purpose flour1 1/2 tsp baking soda 1 1/2 tsp baking powder 1 tsp salt 3/4 cup Valrhona cocoa powder 1 teaspoon cinnamon 2 eggs 1 cup evaporated milk 2 sticks non salted butter 2 teaspoon bourbon vanilla 1 cup coffee (old and cold) Directions:Preheat oven to 350Fgrease 2 9 inch baking pans, dusting both with cocoa. set aside. combine all dry ingredients except sugar and sift set aside. In bowl combine, eggs, butter, sugar, vanilla until smooth add milk slowly. add dry ingredients a little at a time until combined add coffee last. Bake 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. cool 10 minutes in pan, transfer to wire racks until completely cool. Use whatever icing you want with it. I made a chocolate caramel hard (hard as in I used booze)sauce and to serve for single layer instead. No comments posted yet.
